Text Box: Conditions of Service

New ESP applications must be approved by the Hurst Music Repair Staff.

To qualify for ESP coverage, the instrument must first be clean, in good playing condition and in no need of any other repair service.

If the instrument does not meet the condition required for coverage, you will need to pay for an initial repair service in addition to the ESP policy price.

The ESP policy goes into effect immediately after the full policy price is paid on an approved application, and expires exactly one year later.

A policy may be renewed without another approval process if payment for renewal is received before the active policy expiration date.

ESP does not cover cases, mouthpieces, reeds, straps, sticks, mutes, or any accessory item that may accompany the instrument.

ESP is not a replacement policy and does not cover total loss from fire, flood, theft, vandalism or any catastrophic act or accident that renders the instrument damaged beyond reasonable repair, as determined by the Hurst Music repair staff.

ESP does not cover manufacturer defects or deterioration of plating and lacquer finishes.
